New Venture Launch Planning
I teach launch planning for new ventures to master's and other students. The basic premise of this course is that once you have a business plan, one still needs to figure out the detailed, actionable steps necessary to reach viability and exit. Topics include:
- Business model canvases
- Estimating recurring costs, revenues, and business viability using fishbone diagrams
- Estimating nonrecurring costs and timing using project management techniques
- Risk management and response planning, including when to pivot
- Supply chain and operations planning
The syllabus for this course, which is representative, can be found here.
